Union Minister L Murugan wrote a letter to PM Modi, announced to leave ministerial post and Rajya Sabha membership, know the reason

New Delhi: A big and shocking news has come out from the political circles of the country. L Murugan, Union Minister of State in the Modi government and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh, has offered to resign from his post. Murugan has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting that he be relieved of the responsibilities of Union Minister and membership of Rajya Sabha.

In his emotional and political letter to the Prime Minister, L Murugan has made it clear that he now wants to focus his entire attention on strengthening the party organization at the grassroots level in Tamil Nadu. He wrote that his priority is to work dedicatedly for the work of the organization and he wants to work hard on the streets to give new wings to the BJP’s support base in Tamil Nadu.

It is noteworthy that L Murugan had earlier also been the state president of Tamil Nadu BJP and during his tenure, the political activism of the party had increased significantly in the state. His decision to leave the allure of power and red lights and go back among the organization and workers points towards the new aggressive strategy of BJP in the political equations of South India, especially Tamil Nadu.
