France. An incident of firing inside a school has come to light in France. On October 12, a 14-year-old student allegedly fired several bullets from a hunting gun at Joseph-Lacanal Middle School in Aubagne, southern France. The school headmaster and a teacher were injured in this incident. While the third person suffered minor injuries from bullet fragments. After this incident, an atmosphere of panic was created in the school.

Had brought gun hidden in guitar cover
According to initial investigation, the accused student had brought the gun inside the school by hiding it in a guitar cover. Let us tell you that after around 9 am, he opened fire on the first floor of the school, causing injuries to the legs of the headmaster and a teacher. After this he reached the second floor and opened fire there also. A bullet hit the classroom. Due to which the board was damaged and some students suffered minor injuries from shrapnel.
School staff controlled the student
During the firing, a school employee showed courage and controlled the accused student and snatched the gun from his hand. After this, the police reached the spot and took him into custody. According to officials, the condition of the injured headmaster and teacher was not serious and there was no threat to their lives at present.

Investigation on charges of attempt to murder
Given the seriousness of the case, the Marseille prosecutor's office opened an investigation on charges of attempted murder. According to reports, the accused student and his parents were detained for questioning. Police are trying to find out how the student brought the gun to school and what was his motive behind the firing? As soon as the incident occurred, special arrangements were made to provide psychological support to the school students, their families and teachers.
