Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana: New rules and eligibility

Changes in Haryana Lado Lakshmi Scheme

New information about Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana: Haryana Government has changed the method of distribution of financial assistance to women under Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. Now eligible women will be given Rs 1100 out of Rs 2100 directly into their savings bank account every month, while the remaining Rs 1000 will be deposited in their name as RD or FD. Interest will also be earned on this deposited amount and the amount will be returned to the woman after completion of the stipulated period. The government has set the maturity period of deposits to be a maximum of five years.

Distribution of aid under the new system

Under Lado Lakshmi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 2100 is given every month to eligible women. Earlier this amount was given directly into their account, but now Rs 1000 will be deposited in FD or RD. According to the new rules, the amount of Rs 2100 has been divided into two parts. Under this arrangement, women will get ₹1100 every month for household needs and other expenses, while ₹1000 will continue to be deposited in their names. Thus, the assistance provided under the scheme will remain at ₹2100 per month, but a part of it will be reserved for the future.

first month rules

According to the notification of January 8, there is a provision to give the entire amount of ₹ 2100 to the new beneficiaries in their savings bank account in the first month. From the second month onwards the assistance will be distributed in the form of ₹1100 cash transfer and ₹1000 deposited in RD or FD. The notification also mentions a separate provision for those beneficiaries who voluntarily choose to take reduced monthly assistance up to the prescribed limit. Therefore, beneficiaries should check their chosen amount and payment terms as per the applicable rules.
