Kawasaki Z300 will be launched soon, will create a stir with sharp design and powerful features; Know details

Automobile desk: Kawasaki is all set to make a splash in the two-wheeler market with its new streetfighter bike 'Z300'. The company has recently presented the first glimpse of this bike to the world during a special event organized in Bengaluru, after which there is a lot of enthusiasm about it among the bike lovers. It is being speculated that this may prove to be the most affordable model of the company's Z series in the Indian market.

According to the information received, booking of this cool bike is likely to start from October 19, while its price and features can be revealed on October 20. In terms of looks, this bike seems to be largely inspired by the company's big bike Kawasaki Z900. It has Kawasaki's signature sharp styling and an aggressive roadster look, which is enough to catch people's attention while on the road. Due to less bodywork, the company has managed to keep its costs under control, due to which it is expected that its starting ex-showroom price can be kept below Rs 3 lakh.

If we talk about its powerful engine and powertrain, then it is said to have the same 296cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine as the popular Ninja 300. Although the official technical data is yet to be announced by the company, but experts believe that its power output will largely be around the Ninja 300. Let us tell you that this engine of Ninja 300 generates excellent power of about 38.4bhp and peak torque of 26.1Nm. If similar tuning is seen in the Z300, then it will become a great option for those riders who want to enjoy sporty riding with strong performance.

To improve the hardware and riding dynamics of the bike, it is expected to get suspension and braking elements similar to the Ninja 300. It can be provided with telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension unit at the rear. Apart from this, the bike is likely to be given 17-inch stylish alloy wheels to give better grip on the road and sporty stance. To make braking safe and effective, petal disc brakes can be found on both its wheels, and for safety, it can also be supported with dual-channel ABS.

In terms of features, this bike can go a few steps ahead compared to its old platform. If reports are to be believed, the company can provide a modern TFT display in place of the traditional semi-digital instrument cluster. This new display is expected to have smart features like smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, which will make it very easy to find the route and view important information during the journey.
