Barcelona vs Arsenal Women’s Champions League match postponed due to general strike in Spain

Barcelona’s UEFA Women’s Champions League 2026-27 home match against Arsenal has been rescheduled from November 11 to November 12 due to a planned general strike in Spain, European football’s governing body confirmed on Wednesday.

The league match will take place at Camp Nou, with the kick-off time remaining unchanged at 6:45 PM CET.

UEFA said the decision was made in consultation with both clubs and in accordance with competition regulations after it was determined that the match could not be held under the required conditions on the original date.

According to Spanish media reports, Barcelona had approached UEFA last week seeking a change in the fixture date because of the nationwide strike planned in protest against Spain’s housing crisis.

Tickets purchased for the November 11 fixture will remain valid for the rescheduled match. Supporters unable to attend on the revised date will be eligible for a full refund.
