Allegations of being forced to join the Russian army again. A 43-year-old youth from Telangana crossed over to Russia in search of employment. The family claims that the young man died on the Russian-Ukraine border. The death has not been confirmed by the government so far. However, the family has approached the Indian government to return the body of the young man to the country.

Mohammad Afzal Khan is a resident of Tadkol village in Kamareddy district. He went to Russia on February 15 this year after receiving the promise of employment. Initially he worked as a gardener and other small jobs. Allegedly, later he was forcibly recruited into the Russian army and sent to the Ukraine war! Sirshu Ashok, a resident of the same region, who is also in Russia, recently told his wife in a voice message that Afzal died on the Russia-Ukraine border last week. Since then, his family is worried.

Afzal's father Abbas Khan has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Russia to confirm whether his son is alive or dead. According to the family, the Indian Embassy in Moscow said that there was no confirmation from the Russian authorities about Afzal's death. Afzal's family wants the central government to take urgent action in this situation. They are suffering from anxiety without getting any news about the son of the house.
