A big trade has taken place before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2027 auction. Fast bowler T Natarajan has rejoined Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after being traded from Delhi Capitals (DC). DC has got Zeeshan Ansari in place of Natarajan. Uttar Pradesh leg spinner Zeeshan Ansari is in excellent form. He recently took 26 wickets in 10 matches in the UP T20 League.
26-year-old Zeeshan did not get a chance to play any match for SRH in IPL 2026. Zeeshan played 10 matches in the 2025 season, in which he took 6 wickets. He has joined DC for his current fee of Rs 40 lakh. He will fill the void of Kuldeep Yadav in this franchise. DC had traded Kuldeep to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He got Rishabh Pant in exchange of Kuldeep.

Natarajan joins SRH for Rs 5 crore
Natarajan, who is going to turn 36 during IPL 2027, has played 5 seasons for SRH. He was with DC for the last 2 seasons. He could not play much in IPL 2025 due to injury. Whereas last season, he took only 5 wickets in 10 matches with an economy of 11.18. DC bought him for Rs 10.75 crore in the mega auction of IPL 2025. He has joined SRH for a revised fee of Rs 5 crore. This means that Rs 10.35 crore will be added to DC's purse, because Zeeshan's fee is only Rs 40 lakh.

Natarajan's figures have been good with SRH
Natarajan played 5 seasons for SRH from 2020 to 2024, in which he took 65 wickets in 55 innings at an economy of 8.82. He took 19 wickets in the 2024 season. He was the highest wicket taker of SRH that season. He played an important role in taking SRH to the final. Now he would like to leave his mark once again. Due to the lack of good Indian fast bowlers in SRH, the bet has been placed on him.
