Bollywood actress Esha Deol graced the launch of Florencia Paris’ much-awaited Five Elements perfume collection in Mumbai on October 14. The event brought together glamour, fragrance and an emotional tribute to legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra, as the Indian fragrance brand introduced five perfumes inspired by the fundamental elements of nature.
The launch was attended by Florencia Paris founder Manav Sarin, co-founder Aamir Sheikh and several guests from the entertainment and business industries. Esha Deol’s presence added a touch of Bollywood glamour to the occasion as she unveiled the collection.
Manav Sarin Remembers Dharmendra, Draws an Emotional Connection with Esha Deol
One of the notable moments of the evening came when Florencia Paris founder Manav Sarin spoke about the late legendary actor Dharmendra, affectionately known as Dharam Ji.
Addressing Esha Deol, Sarin recalled a popular belief that ventures associated with Dharmendra often go on to achieve remarkable success.
He referred to Dharmendra’s appearance on the very first episode of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, drawing a connection between the actor’s presence and the show’s subsequent popularity.
Sarin expressed the sentiment that while Dharam Ji was no longer among us, having his daughter Esha Deol present for the launch was equally special for the brand.
His remarks brought a personal and emotional dimension to the occasion, connecting the launch of a new Indian fragrance collection with the enduring legacy of one of Hindi cinema’s most celebrated actors.
Five Elements: A Perfume Collection Inspired by Nature
The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of Florencia Paris’ Five Elements collection, which draws inspiration from Agni (Fire), Prithvi (Earth), Jal (Water), Vayu (Air) and Akash (Space).
Each fragrance has been conceptualised to represent a different aspect of personality, mood and individual expression.
Agni symbolises energy and boldness, Prithvi reflects warmth and grounded confidence, Jal represents freshness and fluidity, Vayu embodies lightness and clarity, while Akash conveys depth and openness.
According to the brand, the idea behind the collection is to encourage consumers to explore fragrances beyond traditional categories and discover scents that resonate with their personalities.
Speaking about the philosophy behind the collection, founder Manav Sarin said that fragrance is increasingly becoming an expression of individuality rather than simply a part of everyday grooming.
He explained that the brand aims to make fragrance discovery more engaging and personal while keeping premium-inspired perfumes accessible to Indian consumers.
Florencia Paris Introduces a Personalised Fragrance Discovery Experience
Alongside the new collection, Florencia Paris introduced its online fragrance discovery concept, the ‘Florencia Scent Ritual’.
The experience allows users to enter their date of birth and receive fragrance recommendations based on numerology-inspired driver and conductor numbers associated with the five elements.
The system suggests two fragrances and a signature combination, offering customers an interactive way to explore the collection.
Co-founder Aamir Sheikh highlighted the creative process behind developing the perfumes, explaining that translating concepts such as energy, warmth, freshness and depth into distinct fragrances required careful formulation and testing.
He also emphasised the importance of developing perfumes suited to India’s climatic conditions, particularly heat and humidity.
An Indian Fragrance Brand with a Global-Inspired Vision
Developed and manufactured in India, Florencia Paris positions itself as a fragrance brand offering luxury-inspired perfumes at accessible prices.
The newly launched Five Elements collection is available in 50 ml bottles, priced at Rs 1,249 each.
The brand’s broader fragrance portfolio includes floral, woody, fresh, oud, sweet and citrus-based scents designed to appeal to different consumer preferences.
With the launch of its Five Elements collection, Florencia Paris is looking to expand its presence in India’s growing fragrance market while introducing a more personalised approach to choosing perfumes.
Esha Deol’s association with the launch brought together the worlds of Bollywood and lifestyle branding. Beyond the unveiling of the perfumes, Manav Sarin’s heartfelt reference to Dharmendra became one of the evening’s memorable talking points.
The event marked another step in Florencia Paris’ journey as an Indian fragrance brand, with the Five Elements collection combining nature-inspired concepts, contemporary perfumery and personalised fragrance discovery.
