Raider Logbooks are valuable research items in ARC Raiders, especially if you want to upgrade your Research Station and unlock more weapon development options. These small booklets may look unimportant during a raid, but collecting them can make a real difference to your progress.
The trick is knowing which containers to search and which locations offer several opportunities to find them. Instead of opening every container you encounter, focus on Raider-related loot and plan a route that lets you collect supplies before extracting safely.
What Is the Raider Logbook Used For?
The Raider Logbook is an uncommon research item in ARC Raiders. Each one provides 100 Research Points when studied at your Research Station. These points help you unlock research options, including blueprints, designs, and weapon improvements.
You will also need three Raider Logbooks to upgrade your Research Station to Level 2. This upgrade is important for players working toward Weapon Amplification, so avoid selling or discarding these items before checking your workshop requirements.
Each Raider Logbook weighs 0.5 units, stacks up to five, and has a listed sale value of 640 Coins. Its research value usually makes keeping it a better choice than selling it.
Where to Find Raider Logbooks
Raider Logbooks are associated with Raider loot. When searching specifically for them, prioritize the following containers:
- Raider Caches: Search these containers whenever you find them during a raid.
- Ammo Crates: Check ammunition containers in buildings, secured areas, and loot rooms.

Best Locations to Farm Raider Logbooks
Some locations are more efficient than others because they contain several eligible containers within a small area. Two useful places to consider are the Snow Shelters on Pendola Pass and the Classified Records Loot Room on Riven Tides.
1. Snow Shelters on Pendola Pass
Snow Shelters are useful stops when exploring Pendola Pass. The shelters can contain a Medical Bag and an Ammo Box, giving you two opportunities to find a Raider Logbook in one location.
To farm this area efficiently:
- Deploy to Pendola Pass and travel toward the Snow Shelters.
- Search the Medical Bag inside each shelter.
- Check the nearby Ammo Box before leaving.
- Continue to another shelter if your route and the storm allow.
- Extract when you have collected enough valuable items.
These shelters may also contain other useful materials, making them worthwhile stops even when a logbook does not appear.
2. Classified Records Loot Room on Riven Tides
The Classified Records Loot Room on Riven Tides is another promising farming location. It contains multiple eligible containers, including at least two Ammo Boxes and a Medical Bag, according to available location guides.
Access requires opening two doors in sequence, so prepare for the extra effort before heading there. Once inside, search every relevant container rather than rushing toward the exit.
The main advantage is the concentration of loot. You can check several possible sources in one area instead of spending the entire raid searching separate buildings. However, Raider Logbooks are not guaranteed, and reaching a locked room may expose you to other players.
How to Improve Your Farming Runs
A good farming route saves time and reduces the risk of losing valuable equipment. Use these tips whenever you enter a raid looking for Raider Logbooks:
- Travel light: Bring equipment you can afford to lose, especially when testing an unfamiliar route.
- Prioritize containers: Search Raider-related containers before spending time on ordinary loot.
- Watch the storm: Leave early if your route takes you too far from a safe extraction point.
- Avoid unnecessary fights: Combat can consume ammunition, healing supplies, and valuable time.
- Secure your loot: Once you find a logbook, focus on extracting rather than chasing additional fights.
You do not need to visit every recommended location in one raid. Choose the route that best fits your starting position and the available extraction options.
How to Use Raider Logbooks at the Research Station
After extracting, return to Speranza and open your inventory. Select the Raider Logbook and use the Study option to convert it into 100 Research Points.
If you are upgrading your Research Station, remember to save three Raider Logbooks for the Level 2 requirement. The upgrade also requires three Calculators and five Skulker Targeters, so collect those materials before attempting to complete it.
