Tiranga March: Neha Bora Among 150 Detained; Dipke Taken To Undisclosed Location, ‘No Access to Lawyers’

New Delhi: After Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, Delhi Police also detained All India Students’ Association (AISA) president and activist Neha Bora on Friday.

Dipke was detained when he was on way to Connaught Place for the ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ rally, while Bora was detained near Mandi House shortly after she began her march.

CJP claimed Dipke was taken to an undisclosed location and that the party has lost contact with him.

In a post on X, CJP alleged that Dipke was not being allowed to speak to lawyers and questioned the police over his whereabouts. It also asked why young people were being treated like terrorists, asserting that they were entitled to constitutional rights and protections.

“Abhijeet was just walking out of his home with a Tiranga in his hand! How can walking with a Tiranga be a crime?” CJP said, demanding that Delhi Police disclose where Dipke had been taken.

CJP vowed to continue its ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ protest. “You detain one Abhijeet, thousands of Abhijeet will stand up! You jail one Saurav, thousands of Saurav will hit the street! You jail one Ashutosh, thousands of Ashutosh will reach Delhi! “Tricolour is our life, Tricolour is our pride! Nobody can stop us!” CJP said in another post.

Despite the absence of their leaders, there was a sizeable gathering around Connaught Place, Mandi House and Jantar Mantar as police detained around 150 protesters.
