Halwa to enjoy during Navratri
The festival of Shardiya Navratri is going on, and during this time people are offering various types of sweets and offerings to please Goddess Durga. If you do not want to use sugar in your indulgence, then pudding made with honey can be a great alternative.
This Navratri, you can make sweets prepared with honey for Maa Durga. Come, let us tell you the method of making flour pudding.
Ingredients required for Atta Halwa
Wheat flour- 1 cup
Pure desi ghee – half cup
Honey- half cup
Milk- 2 to 2.5 cups
Cardamom powder- half teaspoon
finely chopped dry fruits
How to make Atta Halwa
– First of all, heat pure desi ghee in a pan. When the ghee gets heated well, slowly add wheat flour into it.
While adding the flour, keep the flame low and keep stirring it continuously so that lumps do not form.
Fry the flour until its color turns light brown and its aroma starts coming out.
When the flour is roasted well, slowly add milk to it and keep stirring. If you don't stir it, lumps may form.
Now keep the gas on medium flame and let the halwa cook, so that it absorbs all the milk and the ghee starts separating from the sides.
Then add finely chopped dry fruits to it and mix well, then turn off the gas.
– Once the pudding is ready, add honey as per taste and mix well.
– Your flour pudding is ready. Decorate it with dry fruits and offer it to Maa Durga as bhog.
