Major action against illegal construction
Mumbai: BMC has termed the construction work going on in actor Ajay Devgan's bungalow in Juhu as 'unauthorized' (without permission). BMC has demolished the illegal construction done in this bungalow. BMC officials arrived with the employees and the illegal construction was demolished.
BMC said the owner could not produce any document to prove that approval for the work was taken from the civic body. A reply was filed on behalf of Ajay Devgan, which has been rejected by BMC. Located in Juhu's Kapol Co-operative Housing Society, this bungalow belongs to Ajay Devgan and his mother Veena Devgan.
This bungalow of Ajay Devgan is built on 7,802 square feet. It is built in Kapolei Co-operative Housing Society of Juhu. According to the municipal body, internal alterations, construction of partition walls, alteration of windows and other structural works were being done in this bungalow without the necessary permission of the Municipal Corporation. On October 6, BMC's K/West Ward office issued orders regarding the construction of Ajay Devgan's house.
In this order it was said that in the reply given on September 15, there were no such documents which could prove that the construction work is authorized. Only a copy of the permission granted by any competent authority was attached with the reply.
