Beed. Five people of the same family died in a tragic road accident on Sunday morning in Beed district of Maharashtra. The family was going by car for darshan in Tuljapur when their car collided head-on with a Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (ST) bus near Shindewadi Phata in Majalgaon taluka. Another person is said to be seriously injured in the accident.
The accident happened around 11 in the morning
The accident occurred near Shindewadi Phata on Khamgaon-Pandharpur National Highway. The collision was so strong that the car was badly damaged. According to initial information, the name of Gajanan Namdas of Majalgaon has emerged among the dead. All the people who lost their lives in the accident are said to be from the same family.
On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and started investigation. Information has come to light that the injured person has been sent for treatment. Detailed information regarding the exact cause of the accident and the official identity of all the deceased is awaited.
