The Department of Expenditure of the Ministry of Finance has issued an official letter in this regard on 15 October 2026. The letter said that the bonus was approved by the President. So now the bonus money will be deposited in the employee's account soon.
How will the bonus be calculated?
Everyone must have a question that how much bonus will get. So the government has made a rule for this. The bonus will be calculated on the basis of Rs 7000 per month. This means that no matter how high your salary is, only Rs 7000 will be deducted for bonus. If you look at this calculation, you will get a maximum bonus of Rs 6,908 for 30 days. If your average salary is less than Rs 7000, you will get less bonus accordingly.
To give an example, the formula is – average salary multiplied by 30 divided by 30.4. If 7000 is taken then 7000 x 30 / 30.4 = 6907.89 i.e. 6908 Rs.

Who will get this bonus?
The government has divided the employees into groups A, B, C, D. Not everyone will get this bonus. Group C employees will get the full benefit of this. Who falls into Group C? So Clerk, Head Clerk, Typist, Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff i.e. MTS Employees. They will get 100 percent bonus. Only non-gazetted employees in group B employees will get this bonus. Those who are senior assistants or supervisors will benefit.
