PM Narendra Modi's Message On Vijayadashami: On Vijayadashami, PM Narendra Modi gave a message to everyone to fight the enemies of the country together.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Dussehra program organized at DDA Ground, IP Extension, Delhi. PM performed aarti for the artists playing the roles of Lord Ram, Mata Sita and Laxman ji in Ramlila. After this, the effigy of Ravana was burnt symbolically by shooting arrows. Modi gave the message to everyone to fight together against the enemies of the country. He said, the forces that hurt the country, the people who divide the society, the mentality of hating our culture, these are the enemies of the country. Modi said, our thoughts should be similar, our committees i.e. all the institutions of the nation, all the political parties should stand together for the national interest, we have to follow this spirit.

Modi said, the festival of Vijayadashami gives us courage that no matter how big the enemy is, but when we are with truth and humanity, victory is ours in the end. This spirit of Vijayadashami has always been the ideology of India. No matter how big the crisis is, no matter how difficult the challenge, we should not rely on others. We have to recognize our potential. We have to trust the resources. We have to strengthen our resolve and find solutions with our hard work because Lord Shri Ram taught us that the difficulties on the way cannot stop our journey. The sea was in front, Lanka was far away, but the resolve was firm, hence Ramji awakened the collective power of the people, made public participation his strength and made the goal that seemed impossible possible. This is the basic mantra of success.

The PM said, any nation progresses when it has a sense of self-respect, and its heritage plays an important role in shaping this self-respect. This is why the country is now working to save its heritage and identity. For centuries our heritage was looted and taken to foreign countries. But today, we are bringing those treasures back. In the last 12 years, more than 650 ancient sculptures have been brought back to India. India is giving a new identity to its cultural centers on the world stage.
