An accident occurred during the immersion of Durga idols in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur at 5 pm on Wednesday. Three people died and 10 others were injured due to electrocution. According to reports, the rod attached to the trolley collided with the high-tension line, leading to the accident.
The injured have been admitted to BRD Medical College. All were going to perform the idol in the tractor-trolley. A long rod attached to a trolley collided with a high-tension line from above. As a result, the people on the trolley were electrocuted. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police and administrative teams reached the spot. The injured were sent to the medical college for treatment. The accident took place near Ayodhya Prasad Chauhan Tola in Gulriha Police Station area.
