This is an upgraded version of the company’s Oura Ring 4, which has a smaller design, better sensors and AI based health monitoring features than before. Oura Ring 5 price and availability in India
The price of Silver and Black color variants of Oura Ring 5 has been kept at ₹ 39,900. Whereas, for Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth and Brushed Silver color options, customers will have to spend ₹ 50,900. This smart ring is available in size options ranging from 6 to 13. Along with this, a charger is also given according to the size of the ring. Its pre-booking in India can be done through Amazon and Croma retail stores.
Apart from this, users can also take subscription of Oura Membership, through which additional features can be used. The price of this membership is ₹599 per month.
Features and specifications of Oura Ring 5
According to Oura, the design of Ring 5 is 40 percent smaller than Oura Ring 4. Light titanium has been used in it, which can make it comfortable to wear for a long time. The ring comes with a stronger Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating, which is designed to provide better protection against scratches. It has an IP68 rating and claims water resistance for use in water up to 100 meters.
Upgraded sensors and better health tracking
Oura Ring 5 has a new signal architecture. It includes low-profile sensor domes, upgraded LEDs and 12 improved signal pathways. This includes Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime Breathing Monitoring. The Blood Pressure Signals feature can help identify potential signs of stress related to the heart and blood circulation. At the same time, the Nighttime Breathing feature shows a 30-day record of breathing disturbances during sleep.
It is worth noting that monitoring blood pressure related signals should not be considered a substitute for a medical device that measures blood pressure directly.
Live Activity Tracking and GLP-1 Insights
Live Activity Tracking feature is also provided in the new smart ring. With its help, users will be able to track their activities in real time during workout through Oura app. The company has also enhanced its metabolic health features. This includes GLP-1 Insights, designed for users of GLP-1 medications. Its purpose is to help in understanding trends related to health and wellness.
AI health features and personalized advice
Many new AI based health features are also provided in Oura Ring 5. The Oura Health Records feature combines clinical health data with information from the Ring’s sensors. Additionally, AI-enabled healthcare support is provided through a partnership with Counsel Health. The company’s Advisor AI system has also been improved, which can provide personalized suggestions to users based on their activities and health data. Oura has also introduced two other useful features with the ring. The Locate feature can help in finding a lost smart ring or charging case.
