Simlipal is opening from November 1, the world's rarest black tiger will be seen

Odisha's Simlipal Tiger Reserve is opening its doors for forest lovers. After being closed for monsoon for the last four months, this famous forest of Mayurbhanj is ready to welcome tourists again from November 1. From the secret lair of the Royal Bengal Tiger to the world's only rare black tiger, it's a treat for thrill-seekers. But the forest does not mean free freedom, this forest journey will be wrapped in strict rules and regulations.

According to forest department sources, only 60 vehicles will be allowed to enter every day to handle the crowd and save the environment. Be it Pithabata, Guduguria, Jamuani or Talabandha—whichever gate you enter, an accompanying guide will be your guide. Entry through Jashipur Gate is between 5am and 9am, and Pithab is between 8am and 9am. Seeing Jashipur or Barehipani waterfall is mandatory to leave the area before 4 pm. At the end of the day, before the sun sets, i.e. by six in the evening, all the tourists have to come out of the forest. There is no harm in breaking the rules, there is strict monitoring by the administration.

In this vast forest of about twenty-seven hundred square kilometers, you will see not only tigers, but also elephants, leopards, gaurs and rare species of birds. Eco-cottages at Kumari or Guduguriya for overnight stay are also newly decorated. So why the delay? Pack your weekend plans quickly with a camera in your bag and a backpack on your back.
