NEW DELHI:
Neha Bora, president of the All India Students’ Association, has told the Delhi High Court that no special permission is required to hoist the national flag.
She challenged a police notice directing her to execute a bond to maintain peace, arguing that the action was linked to her plans to hoist the Tricolour. The case raises questions about police restrictions and the rights of individuals to display the national flag.
