SBI Digital Services Shutdown on Oct 24

The State Bank of India (SBI) has informed its customers that key digital banking services will be temporarily unavailable on Saturday, October 24, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance activity.

According to the bank’s official statement, major transaction facilities—including UPI, IMPS, YONO, Internet Banking, NEFT, and RTGS—will remain non-operational for 45 minutes between 01:45 AM and 02:30 AM (IST).

To minimise disruption during this brief outage, SBI has advised customers to use UPI Lite for small-value digital transactions or access ATM services for cash withdrawals and balance inquiries.

The country’s largest lender expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to users and thanked them for their cooperation as systems undergo maintenance upgrades.

Customers planning late-night financial transfers are encouraged to complete their transactions before or after the scheduled maintenance window.
