The investigation has now reached the whereabouts of the accused, supply of weapons, alleged firing practice in the forest and the routes of their escape after the incident. According to the inputs related to the investigation, Mumbai Crime Branch is now preparing to do crime scene recreation with the three shooters. According to police sources, room number 201 of RR Residency Hotel located in Andheri East, Mumbai is at the center of investigation. It was in this room that the three accused stayed for several days and finalized the conspiracy to murder Tiger. It is claimed that there was a misfire from the pistol in this room, after which firing practice was done in the forest and the weapon was later thrown into the Tapi river.
According to the information, accused Phool Singh, Rihan and Hrithik were staying in room number 201 of RR Residency Hotel located in Andheri East, Mumbai between October 14 and October 18. He had booked the room through fake Aadhar card. The room rent is said to be around Rs 1,500 per day. His yellow Pulsar motorcycle was also parked outside the hotel. According to the inputs related to the investigation, after the weapons reached Mumbai on October 17, they were kept in this room. Meanwhile, the pistol allegedly misfired and the bullet hit the bed. However, the hotel staff told the police that they had not heard any gunshot. On October 19, the forensic team of Mumbai Police went to room number 201 of this hotel, collected evidence and conducted Panchnama.
It is being told that the three accused had come out of the hotel at around 4 pm on October 18. After CCTV surfaced, it became clear that these three shooters were in the same hotel three hours before the attack on Tiger Shroff. In the CCTV footage, there is information that Hrithik is seen coming out first carrying a blue bag on his shoulder. After this Phool Singh and Rihan came out in the yellow colored Pulsar. Mumbai Police has taken the CCTV footage of exit from the hotel in its custody. Meanwhile, when a team of Mumbai Police arrived this morning to inspect the hotel, the door did not open. According to the information, the hotel has been locked from inside and other customers staying there were also taken out. The police had to return without investigation.
Another important information has come to light in this matter. It is being told that after getting the weapons on October 17, the accused had gone to a forest around Mumbai and practiced firing. It is claimed that the three accused practiced firing for three to four rounds separately. A fourth person was also involved in making these three practice firing, who was a firing instructor. On the other hand, the police is also investigating the possibility of weapons being thrown around Tapi river to recover the pistol and revolver used in the crime. However, it has not been confirmed that weapons were thrown into the river. The police are now preparing to do crime scene recreation with the three shooters, so that the links of events before and after the attack can be connected.
The name of a minor boy is also said to be revealed in the investigation. It is being told that he had come to Dadar to collect revolver and pistol. Radha and Babita from Haryana and UP had reached Dadar on 17 October to deliver weapons. According to sources, Babita had told her family that she was going to visit major temples of Mumbai. Investigators suspect that under the guise of visiting temples, both the women tried to hide their identities and avoid police suspicion. It is suspected that both of them had visited the Siddhivinayak temple of Prabhadevi located near Dadar. However, to confirm this, the police is investigating their activities. They are checking CCTV and taking statements.
