In the video, he is seen raising an issue related to West Bengal post-poll politics and students of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. However, during this time, they are violating the limits of words and also abusing BJP.
Naseeruddin Shah shared a video on his Instagram story on Saturday. The actor alleged that after the victory in the West Bengal elections, BJP is taking action against those who do not agree with its ideology and policies. He also raised the issue of students of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. Shah said in the video that the students of the institute were demanding answers from the administration. Instead, they were given show cause notices, kept under surveillance and threatened. He also said that students have been asked to vacate the hostel. The actor accused BJP of promoting propaganda in its favor and trying to intimidate those who disagree or change their thinking.

Actually, students of Kolkata's Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) have been protesting for 25 days. They are protesting against the alleged violence on campus, lack of security and action of the administration. Students have also boycotted the class. The protest began after an alleged clash during an event on September 27. Responding to this, Naseeruddin Shah said that after the fraudulent victory in Bengal elections, this BJP – which is a false party. Now he is bent on taking revenge on all those who do not agree with his ideology and policies. The latest victim of this vendetta is Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute student and future filmmaker. In lieu of demanding accountability from the administration, they have been served 'show-cause' notices, monitored, threatened, and now even asked to vacate the hostel. The actor finally said, 'BJP is not satisfied with promoting shameless propaganda in its favor, but now it wants to brainwash people or intimidate them.

Earlier, during the student movement in July, the actor had supported the protesting students and criticized the action taken against them.
