According to the information, there was a movement of RSS in Kingaon located in Yawal taluka of Jalgaon. When the volunteers passed by a mosque while marching, the men of the area made the women sit on the road and stage a dharna. During this time, incidents of stone pelting started happening at some places. Seeing the situation worsening, the police immediately came into action. The police resorted to mild lathi charge to disperse the people who were trying to create a disturbance. When the crowd dispersed from the spot, the RSS march could be completed. In view of the tension, a large number of police have been deployed in Kingaon.

The district administration of Jalgaon has also been alerted after the incident that took place during the RSS's path movement. Jalgaon SP Shrikant Dhivare, ASP Sandeep Gavit and other police and administration officers reached Kinagaon and took stock of the security situation. There are preparations to take strict action against those who try to create nuisance and spoil the situation by pelting stones. The big question is why the police did not know in advance that during the march of RSS volunteers in Kingaon, there could be an attempt to create such a ruckus and spoil the atmosphere. At present, security has been tightened in view of the tension in the area. Let us tell you that in the past too there have been incidents of protests and attempts at violence on Hindu festivals at many places in Maharashtra. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has taken action by adopting a strict attitude in every such case.
