Hapur:Pilkhuwa police finally reached the accused who was absconding in a serious case related to a minor. Police arrested Ranjeet alias Aniket alias Jaharila, wanted in the case of rape and luring a minor. The accused was arrested from his residence. Now the police is busy taking further legal action against him.
The search was on since the case was registered
Area officer Pilkhuwa Munish Chandra said that this action was taken under the direction of SP Madhuvan Kumar Singh as part of the operation being conducted to arrest the wanted persons. The police was looking for the accused in case number 519/26. The arrested accused has been identified as Ranjeet alias Aniket alias Jaharila son of Navratna alias Nirotan Singh, resident of Nai Mandi Sotwali Gali, Police Station Hapur Dehat, District Hapur. According to the police, a case has been registered in the matter under various sections including the POCSO Act. After arresting the accused, the police is taking further action as per rules. According to officials, the campaign will continue in the district to control crime and arrest the wanted accused.
