Flight bookings to Hanoi on Trip.com increased 74%, while searches for Hanoi trips on Traveloka quadrupled.
Occupancy rates at several three- to five-star hotels reached 75–100%.
The department said the concert raised Hanoi’s tourism profile, boosted tourism and service businesses, and demonstrated the city’s ability to host international music events.
BigBang’s Hanoi concerts are part of the group’s world tour celebrating their 20th anniversary. Titled “BigBang 2026-2027 World Tour (XX: COSMOS),” the tour runs from Aug. 21, 2026, to Feb. 28, 2027, with approximately 39 shows scheduled across multiple countries and territories.
During BlackPink’s concerts in July 2023, Hanoi received around 170,000 visitors including 3,000 international tourists over two days, generating VND630 billion in revenue.
Hanoi plans to develop more tourism products linked to major events, improve visitor experiences and increase the economic benefits of international cultural and entertainment activities.
