Actress Srinidhi Shetty, who became famous across the country with the blockbuster franchise 'KGF' which brought a tsunami at the box office of Indian cinema, is once again in the headlines. Srinidhi, who made her acting debut in 2018 with director Prashant Neel's film 'KGF: Chapter 1', became a pan India star overnight. After this, her character Reena Desai in 'KGF: Chapter 2' left an indelible impression on the hearts of the audience. However, after this historic success, the news was spreading rapidly in the corridors of the film industry that Srinidhi has unexpectedly increased her fees and she is demanding a huge amount of Rs 7 to 8 crore per film. After remaining silent on these discussions for a long time, the actress herself has now come forward and stated the reality of these claims and made it clear with what thinking she is moving forward in cinema. It is often seen in the film industry that after giving a big blockbuster film, the actors bring a big jump in their fees. In the case of Srinidhi too, speculations were being made that she was charging such a huge amount to join the ranks of the most expensive actresses of South and Bollywood. Recently, during a major media interview, when Srinidhi was asked a direct question about this, he rejected these reports outright in a very casual and frank manner. Srinidhi clarified that the matter of Rs 8 crore fee being added in her name is a completely fabricated and baseless rumour, which has nothing to do with reality. 'If the aim was only to earn money, I would have done 40 films': Srinidhi's blunt answer. While expressing her views during the interview, Srinidhi Shetty said that after the historic success of both the chapters of 'KGF', it was rumored that she is now demanding Rs 7 to 8 crore for each project. Raising the question, he said that in my eight years of film journey, till now I have worked in very limited and selected films only. How can someone demand such a huge and unreasonable amount in such a nascent and cautious period? Therefore, this is a completely baseless rumor which was spread without any facts. Talking about her acting philosophy and values in life, Srinidhi stressed that money has never been the yardstick of her decisions. He said that if earning money was my only goal or priority in life, I would have signed thirty to forty films in the last few years and would have been working indiscriminately. I refused many big offers simply because they were not meeting my artistic vision and standards of satisfaction. I cannot be a part of any project just to increase the bank balance. For me, the depth of the story, the director's vision and my character come first. Unless I believe that I am able to make a meaningful contribution to a film, I do not sign that film. Selected projects in her 8-year career, from 'Cobra' to 'Hit 3', worked on her own terms. The career graph of Srinidhi Shetty, who entered the cinema world after completing her engineering studies and winning the international title of Miss Supranational, has been completely different from other contemporary actresses. In his eight-year long film career, he has done very few films, but his presence in every film has been very special. After both the installments of KGF, she played an important role in the multilingual Tamil thriller 'Cobra' opposite Chiyaan Vikram. Apart from this, she became a part of different genre projects like the much-awaited action thriller 'HIT: The Third Case' and the Telugu film 'Telusu Kada'. Film critics believe that Srinidhi's restraint and determination to choose the right script makes him a horse for the long race. They prefer to work on their own terms rather than being a part of any kind of blind race or herd. He never gave importance to the length of screen time, but looked at the impact of the character. This is the reason why whenever any of his new projects comes out, the audience expects to see something new and different in it. 'AK47' will hit the theaters on October 30, Srinidhi's new style will be seen with Venkatesh. These days, Srinidhi Shetty is busy in the vigorous promotion of her upcoming Telugu film 'Aadarsh Kutumbam House Number: 47' i.e. 'AK47'. This much talked about family action-drama film is being directed by South cinema veteran and hit machine filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas. Telugu cinema superstar Venkatesh is playing the lead role in the film, while Srinidhi Shetty will be seen sharing the screen with him in a very strong and new avatar. The starcast of this film is very strong and impressive. Apart from Venkatesh and Srinidhi, the film stars talented actor Nara Rohit, beautiful actress Nivetha Pethuraj and child artiste Yuvina Parthavi in key supporting roles. The film, laced with Trivikram Srinivas's trademark witty dialogues, family sentiments and great drama, is going to release on a grand scale in theaters across the world on 30 October 2026. The teaser and songs of the film have received a tremendous response from the audience and it is expected to take a great opening at the box office.
