These questions have started arising when 15 new air defense towers have been erected in Putin’s Valdai Palace.
Security of Valdai Palace increased

Pantsir-Tor defense system is being installed on all these which has expertise in stopping drone attacks.
Where is Valdai Palace located?
Quoting investigations by Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty, it has been reported that Russia has further tightened the security cordon of President Vladimir Putin’s Valdai Palace. This palace of Putin is located on the banks of Valdai Lake in north-western Russia. Since the location of the new towers that have been built, there has been speculation about Putin’s security. Near the Valdai Palace, 15 defense towers are placed in a row. All new towers face the direction of Ukraine. The number of air defense towers within a 50 km radius of the Valdai Palace has now increased to more than 50. Ukraine may target Valdai Palace

Russian agencies fear that Valdai Palace will be targeted more than Moscow. This is being said because the defense system of Valdai Palace has been kept in a more secure armor than that of Moscow. For the security of Putin’s house in Moscow, 98 air defense towers have been installed for about 2 crore population i.e. 1 tower for every 2 lakh people. Whereas in Putin’s Palace in Valdai, 50 towers have been installed in an area with a population of less than 1 lakh, meaning 1 tower for every 2,000 people.
