Ahead of Chhath festival, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari reached the banks of Yamuna river in Sonia Vihar, Delhi today. Here he first sat in the boat and took stock of the cleanliness of Yamuna and then took a dip and also took a bath. The video of Manoj Tiwari taking Yamuna bath has also been posted from the official X account of BJP Delhi and has targeted former CM Arvind Kejriwal. Let us tell you that the BJP government of Delhi has been continuously cornering the former Aam Aadmi Party government on the issue of filth in Yamuna. In the assembly elections, BJP had raised the issue of Yamuna cleaning loudly. After forming the government, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta had said that cleaning Yamuna is the priority of the government. Most recently, on October 22, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of Yamuna Rejuvenation Projects in Delhi on the occasion of his birthday.
