Ajay Devgn: Mumbai. Problems seem to be increasing for Bollywood actors Ajay Devgan, Shahrukh Khan and Tiger Shroff regarding the advertisement of Vimal Cardamom. Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had issued a show cause notice to the three actors for appearing in this advertisement. Now Ajay Devgan has approached the Bombay High Court in this matter. He has filed a petition challenging the FDA notice. After this step, the dispute related to advertisement has now taken a legal turn.
Ajay Devgan's petition against FDA notice
Maharashtra FDA had sought answers from Ajay Devgan, Shahrukh Khan and Tiger Shroff regarding the advertisement of Vimal Cardamom. The department says that pan masala can also be promoted through cardamom advertisement, whereas there is a ban on the sale of pan masala in Maharashtra.
On this basis, show cause notices were sent to the three artistes. Now Ajay Devgan has challenged this action in the Bombay High Court. However, on what grounds he has declared the notice wrong in his petition and what relief he has sought from the court, the complete information has not been revealed yet.
Shahrukh and Tiger also replied to FDA
In this matter, answers were sought not only from Ajay Devgan but also from Shahrukh Khan and Tiger Shroff. A reply has been submitted to the FDA on behalf of the three artists. According to the information, two of these artists had also demanded a personal hearing.
