Indian Swadeshi Mela USA : Deepali Saraogi, born in Bacheli in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh and currently living in Chicago, USA, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Pravasi Bharatiya Chhattisgarh Samman’ by the Government of Chhattisgarh. North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA) has expressed happiness over this achievement and congratulated him.
This honor has been given for his contribution in promoting the culture, heritage and community engagement of Chhattisgarh as well as strengthening relations between the state and the global diaspora community.
Deepali is the founder and executive chairperson of NACHA.
Deepali Saraogi is the founder of North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA) and currently serves as its Executive President. She is working to connect Chhattisgarhi migrants living internationally, including North America, on one platform. In his journey from Bacheli to Chicago, he has maintained a connection with his motherland and cultural roots.
More than 30 thousand people reach Indian Swadeshi Fair
Deepali Saraogi is also the founder and president of ‘DTribals Foundation’. For the last four years, she has been playing an important role in organizing the ‘Indian Swadeshi Mela USA’ held in America. According to NACHA, this fair has become one of the major Indian cultural and business events in America, in which more than 30 thousand people participate.
It involves cultural artists, entrepreneurs, businessmen and community people from across the country. Through the fair, more than 50 traditional artisans of India are invited to America and given an opportunity to display their artworks.

NACHA has described this honor as a recognition of the contribution of the global Chhattisgarhi community. The association has expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and the state government. Also told that Deepali Saraogi has also been honored and awarded on many international forums. The organization says that his achievement will inspire Chhattisgarhi immigrants living across the world to give global recognition to the development, culture and heritage of their motherland.
