The earth trembled even on 25th October
Earlier on October 25, strong earthquake tremors were felt in Japan. At that time the intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 6.3 on the Richter scale. This earthquake occurred near Bonin Island. The Bonin Islands are located in the Pacific Ocean region of Japan. Japan is geographically located on the 'Ring of Fire' of the Pacific Ocean, where several tectonic plates meet. This is the reason why earthquakes occur frequently here.
