Amul Launches High Protein Cubes, 25 Grams of Protein in an 80 Rupee Pack

Amul, the leading dairy cooperative in the country, has expanded its high protein product range by launching a new ready-to-eat snack called ‘Amul High Protein Cubes’. The company has introduced this product for consumers looking to increase their protein intake while enjoying a tasty snack.

According to the company, a 38-gram pack contains 25 grams of protein and only 150 calories, priced at 80 rupees. The key feature of this new product is its high protein content. Amul claims that these cubes contain approximately 65 percent protein.

Unlike regular dairy products and protein drinks, this is a crispy snack that can be eaten directly or used in various dishes. The company has introduced the high protein cubes in five different flavors: peri-peri, Korean kimchi, tandoori, cheese and herbs, and tomato. The product is available in boxes with five different packs, each weighing 38 grams and accompanied by a separate seasoning sachet for flavor enhancement.

Amul has also provided a method for consuming this snack. Consumers can add their preferred flavored seasoning powder to the cubes’ packet and shake it well, allowing the seasoning to coat the cubes, making them ready to eat. Additionally, they can be mixed into gravy dishes or used to add crunch to soups.

According to the company, a snack similar to bhel can also be prepared using these cubes by mixing them with onions, tomatoes, and chutney. Amul has encouraged consumers to use this new product in their own way and share their experiences. Shefali Vijayvargiya, Brand Manager of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), shared information about the new product on the social media platform X, detailing that a 38-gram pack contains 25 grams of protein, along with information about all five flavors, pricing, and various usage methods.

Amul has also announced the launch of this product on its official Instagram account. Currently, Amul High Protein Cubes are available through the company’s online sales channels, and customers can purchase them via the Amul Shop app and the company’s official website. The total price for the box with five different packs is 400 rupees.

Amul has been continuously expanding its range of protein-based food products over the past few years. The company introduced high protein products directly for consumers in 2022, with initial offerings including high protein paneer and yogurt. Subsequently, the company also launched products like protein lassi, buttermilk, milkshakes, and whey protein in the market.

In 2025, Amul included high protein milk and mango kulfi in its product range. The high protein mango kulfi, launched in April 2025, was reported to contain 10 grams of protein and 57 calories in a 60-gram pack, priced at 40 rupees. At that time, Amul’s Managing Director Jayen Mehta mentioned plans to develop new protein-based food products, including those in the snack category.

The launch of high protein cubes is the company’s next step in this direction. With this new product, Amul has extended its protein-based range beyond milk, yogurt, and other dairy products to include ready-to-eat snack options, catering to consumers who want to incorporate protein-rich foods into their regular meals as well as light snacks.
