If sweepers and butchers face problems due to the worship of Maa Durga, then mourn at home, CM Yogi's blunt message.

Gonda. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while making a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party, said that if a policeman or a butcher has any problem with the worship of Maa Durga, then mourn in your home, but do not trouble anyone. Samajwadi Party in itself is a curse for Uttar Pradesh. Whenever it came, it always caused havoc. During the SP government, Durga Puja pandals were disputed, permission for puja was not granted and Kanwar Yatra was banned. Today Uttar Pradesh is curfew-riot free. BJP means a party that respects faith, whereas Samajwadi Party and Congress mean crime. They bring scoundrels, we bring change.

Referring to the incident of November 2, 1990, the Chief Minister said that on the same day, during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement in Ayodhya, the then Samajwadi Party government had opened fire on Ram devotees and left them bleeding. We paved the way for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya by showering flowers on the devotees of Ram. The development of Ayodhya was taken forward and through Deepotsav, it was ensured that the development of the lamp lit in the holy land of Lord Ram would reach Gonda.

He said that ten years ago it used to take two and a half to three hours to reach Maa Pateshwari Shaktipeeth located at Devipatan from Gonda. Roads were turned into potholes, there was an atmosphere of insecurity, development work was stalled, youth were unemployed and farmers were in distress. The safety of the daughter and the businessman was in danger. Gonda, Balrampur and Shravasti were counted among the most backward and dirtiest districts of the country. In the Swachh Survekshan of 2016, Gonda was included among the dirtiest cities of the country.

The Chief Minister said that this is the same land which saw the bravery and valor of Maharaja Suheldev, destroyed the foreign invaders with the power of Maa Pateshwari Shaktipeeth and saw the bravery of Maharaja Devi Baksh Singh, the immortal fighter of the first freedom struggle of 1857. The identity of this sacred land associated with the Yoga tradition of Maharishi Patanjali and Ramkatha of Goswami Tulsidas was in crisis due to lack of development. The land which showed light to the world, itself remained in darkness.

The government used to attribute the death of a poor child to an unknown disease

Questioning the insensitivity of the previous government, the Chief Minister said that at that time media headlines were made that so many children died in Gonda, Balrampur and Bahraich due to unknown disease. A poor child had no value in the agenda of the then government. There was no scheme of any kind for the poor. He considered it his birthright to play with the future of the youth.

The construction of a medical college in the name of revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Balrampur is in the final stages. The establishment of a university in Devipatan division is also a part of this change. Earlier, people running copying contracts were a hindrance in becoming a university, because it would have ruined their business. Now the children here will not copy, but will get quality education and join the mainstream of development.

Earlier development meant Saifai, now development in all 75 districts

The Chief Minister said that earlier development meant only cleanliness. Today, development is taking place in all 75 districts, 350 tehsils, 825 development blocks and 762 municipal bodies of the state. Now electricity is available not only in Rampur and Saifai, but also in Gonda, Balrampur and Bahraich. Ration is being given free of cost to every poor and needy, not on seeing the face. LPG connections are also available without any discrimination. Before Diwali, we are going to give one filled LPG cylinder free to poor families.

If needed, adequate funds are also made available for treatment from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The recruitment process has been taken forward honestly, as a result of which the youth of Gonda are also receiving appointment letters. Now along with investment, employment and job opportunities will also be created in Gonda itself. Our effort is that the youth of Gonda should not go to Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai or Delhi for employment, but should get work in their own district.

Mafia has been destroyed, warning to those who play with security

The Chief Minister said that now if any development plan comes up in Gaura, Mankapur, Gonda, Mehnaun, Colonelganj and Katra, no one can hijack it on the way, because we have destroyed the mafia. Tight security arrangements have been made for the daughter and the businessman. Whoever breaches the security, there is already an ultimatum for him that there will be no other place for him other than jail or hell.

He said that the new generation has not seen the misgovernance of the Samajwadi Party. Ask your parents what is curfew, what is disturbance? How the houses of the poor were looted, the rights of the poor were robbed, the employment of the youth was robbed and the security of sisters and daughters was compromised. Samajwadi Party is a curse for the state, whenever it came, it always caused destruction.
