The Ministry further said that our Embassy in Oman is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with the Omani authorities to bring back the rescued Indian nationals and mortal remains of the deceased at the earliest.
India has said that the continuous attacks on commercial ships in the region are extremely worrying. We once again urge an immediate de-escalation of tensions and completion of ongoing negotiations for a diplomatic solution, so that peace and stability can return to the region.
