However, it is not yet clear whether the person sending the audio is actually connected to any gang or not. After getting information about the matter, the concerned authorities were informed about it.
Mumbai Police is investigating the matter
After receiving the threat, Mumbai Police has started investigating the matter. Police officials have also confirmed that Ayushmann has received threatening audio. At present, information about FIR being registered in this case has not been revealed. The technical team of the police is busy identifying the sender of the audio message and finding out his location. Besides, it is also being investigated whether any organized gang is behind the threat or some person is trying to scare by taking the name of the gang.
Tusshar Kapoor also received similar threatening message
Earlier, actor Tusshar Kapoor had also received a threatening audio message. In that message, a person claiming to be associated with a gang had asked for a ransom of Rs 5 crore. In the initial investigation, it was suspected that the audio clip was fake. Now after the message received by Ayushmann Khurrana, the police is also investigating this matter to see if there is any connection between the two incidents. At present, the real reason behind the threat will be clear only after the police investigation is completed.
