BJP's mission on 133 seats of Purvanchal, 250 leaders of Bihar will get election responsibility.

BJP, which is preparing for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, has given special focus on Purvanchal. To strengthen the electoral equation on 133 seats in the region, there are preparations to field around 250 MPs, MLAs and other leaders from Bihar in the campaign. The party has made a strategy to increase contact up to the booth level and divide the election campaign into three levels.

Tezzbuzz Desk – BJP has started preparations for all 403 seats for the assembly elections to be held next year in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 133 seats of Purvanchal are considered very important for the party. According to available information, there are about 50 seats where BJP faces difficulties. At the same time, the party has not been able to register victory on 25 seats since 2012.

To strengthen its position in Purvanchal, BJP is preparing to take the help of leaders of neighboring state Bihar. The similarity between the two states on issues like geographical proximity, language, socio-cultural relations, employment and marriage is being considered as the basis of this strategy.

Eye on 133 seats in 28 districts

28 districts and 133 assembly seats have been mentioned in Purvanchal. Among these, districts like Azamgarh and Ambedkar Nagar remain a challenge for the BJP. According to the information, BJP has not been able to register victory in Azamgarh for the last 15 years. In the year 2022, all the 10 seats of the district went to the Samajwadi Party. In the year 2012 also, SP had won 9 out of 10 seats.

BJP has been facing challenge for a long time on three seats of Ambedkar Nagar, three of Ghazipur and four of Jaunpur. Apart from this, Mau Sadar, Rasra of Ballia, Sakaldiha of Chandauli and Gyanpur seat of Bhadohi are also at the center of the party's strategy.

250 leaders of Bihar given the responsibility of booth cluster

Under BJP's plan, about 250 MPs, MLAs and other leaders of Bihar will campaign in Purvanchal. According to Bihar government minister Ramkripal Yadav, these leaders have been asked to contact people at the block level.

There is a preparation to give the responsibility of cluster of three to four booths in every division to the leaders of Bihar organization. The emphasis of these leaders will be on working in coordination with local level BJP leaders.

BJP National President Nitin Naveen's visit to Gorakhpur is also being linked to the preparations for the electoral equation of Purvanchal seats.

BJP's campaign will run at three levels

According to the information, BJP has divided the campaign for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections into three levels. At the first level, the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Defense Minister, National President of the party and the Chief Minister will hold public meetings. At the second level, Union Ministers and senior state level leaders will campaign through rallies and road shows.

At the third level, leaders from other states will be deployed in different areas. Leaders from Bihar in Purvanchal, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in Southern Uttar Pradesh, while leaders from Delhi and Haryana in Western Uttar Pradesh will campaign.

Bihar's opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal has taken a dig at the preparations to give responsibility to the leaders of Bihar in the Uttar Pradesh elections. RJD spokesperson Ajaz Ahmed said that if BJP leaders could not save the Bankipur seat of their national president, then how will they save the seats of Uttar Pradesh.

In this way, BJP is preparing to strengthen organizational contacts in Purvanchal up to the booth level and to give edge to the election campaign through the leaders of Bihar.
