A very painful accident took place on Wednesday morning in Lovely Public School located in Mayur Vihar area of East Delhi. A 9-year-old girl studying in the third class of the school suddenly fell unconscious during the class. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, Pandav Nagar police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
According to the police, at around 09:52 am on November 4, 2026, the police received information (PCR call) that a class 3 student of Lovely Public School was brought to the hospital located in Nirman Vihar, where she was declared brought dead.
Girl seen suddenly falling in CCTV
After the incident, the police team immediately became active and during the initial inquiry, the CCTV footage of the girl's class was scrutinized. According to police sources, it was seen in the CCTV footage that while studying, the girl suddenly fell down from her seat unconscious.
Statements of family members and school administration will be recorded
Pandav Nagar police station is investigating the entire matter thoroughly so that the exact reasons and circumstances of the girl's death can be found out. Police officials say that the statements of the parents of the victim girl and school administration officials and teachers are being recorded. Besides, other CCTV footage of the class and related evidence are also being studied in detail. The body has been sent for post-mortem, the real cause of death will be clear only after the report comes.
