Pawan Kheda taunts Trump by talking about taking Gyanesh Kumar to America, also surrounds Modi government

Congress leader Pawan Kheda took a jibe at US President Donald Trump and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and targeted the central government. He also cornered the Bhajanlal Sharma government of Rajasthan and raised questions on the problems of farmers, appointments of officers and the foreign policy of the country.

Tezzbuzz Desk – Congress leader Pawan Kheda has made a scathing attack on the BJP government of Rajasthan and the Modi government at the Centre. Referring to the defeat of US President Donald Trump, he took a dig at Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Kheda said that if Trump had taken Gyanesh Kumar with him to America for a few days, he would have won the election.

Targeting Modi government by mentioning Trump

Pawan Kheda targeted the foreign policy of the Central Government on the question of the impact of Trump's defeat on India. He alleged that Trump made more than 150 comments about India, but the Modi government remained silent. He also mentioned America's pressure on the issue of buying oil from Russia, Indian citizens being sent back in handcuffs and Trump taking credit for the ceasefire of Operation Sindoor.

Kheda alleged that despite Trump's derogatory comments on India, the government did not respond. He said that today the country's government neither has the same integrity nor backbone as before.

Question on foreign policy by mentioning Indira Gandhi

Citing the example of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the Congress leader said that she had shown strength in front of US President Nixon. According to Kheda, despite America, Indira Gandhi had divided Pakistan into two parts. He alleged that today there is a lack of clarity in India's foreign policy and the government lives in fear.

Pawan Kheda also targeted Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. Describing the Chief Minister as a 'Chief Minister with a slip', he alleged that the people of Rajasthan have lost faith in the government. He raised issues like farmers not getting timely relief, minimum support price (MSP) on millet, drought and fodder problems.

Kheda described the situation in rural Rajasthan as worrying. He also raised questions on the appointments of officers including IAS Shikhar Agarwal and said that if the list of officers comes from Delhi, then Prime Minister Narendra Modi should answer.

Kheda also spoke on democracy and opposition movement

Countering BJP's claims that democracy is in danger, Pawan Kheda said that if the government improves, democracy will automatically improve. He said that in a democratic system, change of power takes place through elections and protesting on the streets is also a part of democracy.

Kheda alleged that BJP cannot question the opposition's movement to remove the government, as it itself had supported it during the Anna movement.
