Tezzbuzz Desk- Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has reportedly received a threatening audio message. According to Mumbai Police sources, in the audio a person claiming to be a member of the Lawrence Gang has demanded crores of rupees from the actor. After getting information about the case, Mumbai Police has started investigation. The police are now trying to find out whether the person making the threat is actually associated with any criminal gang or has used the gang's name to create fear. According to a senior police officer, the audio message received by Ayushmann Khurrana is being investigated. In the initial investigation, attention is being paid to the identity of the person sending the message and the veracity of his claims. According to police sources, the name by which the person has identified himself in the audio is being matched with the audio of the concerned accused present in the police records. The investigating agencies are trying to clarify whether some organized gang is behind the threat or someone is trying to scare the actor by taking the name of some gang. At present, FIR has not been registered in the case.
Amidst this incident, the issue of threatening messages received by actor Tusshar Kapoor is also in discussion. A few days ago, Tusshar Kapoor also allegedly received a threatening audio message. In that case the sender of the message had identified himself as Harry Boxer. In the initial investigation, it was suspected that the audio was fake. After these incidents, the police is also investigating whether there is any connection between the cases of threatening film stars. Earlier, information about Lawrence Gang taking responsibility for the attack on actor Tiger Shroff had also come to light. So far, 13 accused have been arrested in this case and the investigation is ongoing. Apart from this, there was also a case of actor Amitabh Bachchan and singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh receiving bomb threats through email. After this, information was given about increasing the security of Amitabh Bachchan.
At present, Mumbai Police is busy investigating the audio message received by Ayushmann Khurrana. The investigating agencies are trying to find out the identity of the person making the threat and what is the real motive behind the demand of crores of rupees.
