National President of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav, who returned from Varanasi, while sharing pictures on social media, wrote that first of all, while paying obeisance at the feet of Baba Vishwanath, I would like to say that I am extremely grateful for the love you all showed in Kashi yesterday. On Wednesday, I thanked the people of Kashi in a special way. He has written the letter through social media platforms. In the letter, he has said that if he comes to power, he will run metro in Kashi and eat the laulata of Varanasi to sweeten his mouth.

Kyoto was not built, Kashi was also destroyed
Akhilesh, while targeting BJP over the development of Varanasi, said that the promise of building Kyoto was not fulfilled and Kashi was also destroyed. He taunted that if he could not have made Kyoto, he would have at least put its picture.

– This is the retribution-result of the attack on revered Shankaracharya ji.
– This is also the answer to the lathi charge that was used on the Pal community.
– The atrocities on Dal Mandi destroyed BJP or rather Dal Mandi has given support to BJP.

Dal Mandi joined BJP
Akhilesh also targeted BJP over the action taken in Dal Mandi. He said that the alleged atrocities in Dal Mandi destroyed the BJP. Along with this, he raised the issue of the problems of weavers of Banaras, people involved in handicrafts and those who earn livelihood by boating.

He alleged that BJP's commission embezzlement has harmed the business of small traders. Raising questions on the Namami Gange campaign launched for cleaning the Ganga, Akhilesh said that the billions of rupees spent on this scheme should be accounted for. He said sarcastically, those who used to say that Mother Ganga has called them, have forgotten Mother Ganga.
