Karnal. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday targeted Congress and Rahul Gandhi at the conclusion of Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ padyatra in Karnal, Haryana. He said that Rahul Gandhi is upset and hence blames the defeat on the Election Commission.
Amit Shah said that today is the last day of the ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ rally organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party. This rally was organized at all the headquarters across the country from 22 October to 5 November. Similar enthusiasm and similar crowds were seen everywhere.
Amit Shah said that for the third consecutive time the people of the country elected Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister. Modi was elected Prime Minister for the third time in 2024 with a large majority. After 2024, Congress lost continuously under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
He said that in the elections held across the country after 2024, the people of the country continuously worked to defeat Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party. The first elections were held in Haryana, where Congress was defeated. The people of Haryana made Naib Singh Saini the Chief Minister. For the first two times, Manohar Lal was made the Chief Minister, for the third time Naib Singh Saini was made the CM. They were defeated in Maharashtra elections also.
He said that BJP won in Bihar, BJP won in Delhi after three decades. We won Assam. Mamata Banerjee’s victory was wiped out in West Bengal. BJP government was also formed in Puducherry. The people of the country are not with you (Rahul Gandhi, Congress and Indi alliance).
Amit Shah said that Parliament is the foremost place for discussion in democracy. Rahul Gandhi ji, you do not allow Parliament to function, you do not discuss the issues. You have made it a culture of Congress to create noise and boycott Parliament.
He said that Parliament should not be allowed to function and anarchy should be spread like anarchists by gathering crowd on the road. Amit Shah said that the people of the country have to decide that the law making process of the country, discussion on the problems of the country, discussion on the schemes made for the welfare of the people of the country will not happen on the road but in the Parliament.
He said that if Rahul Gandhi is so fond of discussing on the streets, then we have no objection. You tell PM Modi to tell you the location, he will come later. You tell us the location of any intersection in Haryana, my Yuva Morcha president will come and discuss with you.
Amit Shah said that ‘Rahul Baba’ knows that he is going to lose, hence he blames the Election Commission and the SIR process for his defeat. Rahul Gandhi is furious and blames the defeat on the Election Commission. He asked, ‘Rahul Baba’, where was SIR in 2014? Even then you were completely clean. Where was SIR in 2019? You lost. Even in 2024 there was no SIR, still you lost. There was no SIR in Haryana. There was no SIR in Maharashtra. You lost everywhere and now you claim that one crore votes were removed. Rahul Gandhi is furious and blames the defeat on the Election Commission.
Amit Shah gave a direct challenge to Rahul Gandhi and said that you challenge PM Narendra Modi for discussion? If you want to discuss, just write a letter to PM Modi. We are ready to call a special session of Parliament to discuss the SIR process.
Amit Shah said that Rahul Gandhi’s party is opposing the SIR to register the names of infiltrators. BJP has resolved that we will find the infiltrators and remove them from the voter list. After this, work will be done to selectively expel them from the country. The rally of Congress people is not to save votes, it is a rally to save infiltrators.

He said that he chose November 1 as the day of the rally.
