Nitin Gadkari: Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday (November 5, 2026) lashed out at the entire Congress party, including Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, over comments made about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the kind of language being used by Rahul Gandhi and Congress leaders for PM Modi does not suit him. He also alleged that leaders like Kharge are making insulting statements about Prime Minister Modi’s father as well.
Gadkari said that the Congress leaders have completely lost their minds. The reason for this is that people are constantly refusing to support Congress. The Congress party is facing repeated electoral defeats and this has left the party leaders frustrated.
Congress is attacking democratic system and institutions: Gadkari
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari attended BJP’s ‘Save Democracy, Save Anarchy’ rally in Nagpur, Maharashtra on Thursday (November 5, 2026). Meanwhile, addressing the meeting, he said that the Congress leaders are attacking the democratic system and democratic institutions due to their frustration.
He further alleged that the Congress is trying to defame the Election Commission. Even the proceedings of Parliament are not allowed to proceed. Gadkari said that Parliament is a place to discuss and express one’s ideas, but by repeatedly disrupting the proceedings, Congress has proved that it has no respect even for an institution like Parliament.
People’s trust on PM Modi and BJP has steadily eroded
Nitin Gadkari said that there is a continuous attempt by the opposition, the Congress and the India coalition to undermine public confidence in the constitutional institutions of the country and to mislead the public. He further said that all these things show the mentality of frustration and despair of the Congress. However, he is confident that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party continue to have the faith and blessings of the people of the country. The people of the country will also answer the accusations of the opposition in a democratic manner.
