Ramayana Day 1 Collection: Bollywood’s biggest budget mythological film Ramayana has been released in theaters across the world yesterday on 5th November. After earning crores of rupees in advance booking, the film has started showing strength from its opening day itself. Ranveer Kapoor, who is playing the role of Ram, and South superstar Yash, who is playing the role of Ravana, have been liked a lot by the audience.

Ramayana created a stir on the very first day
As soon as the film came out, it became the biggest topic of discussion among the people. The audience is appreciating the work of Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash. This movie has earned more than Rs 50 crore on the opening day itself. According to Sacknilk, the total collection of the film had reached Rs 64.28 crore. ‘Ramayanam Part 1’ has made a spectacular opening of around Rs 127.50 crore at the worldwide box office on its first day.
The film is being liked by the audience in every language
If we look at it according to language, Hindi audience has showered maximum love on it. Rs 46.45 crore has come from Hindi. Whereas, Rs 7.88 crore has been received from Kannada, Rs 5.98 crore from Telugu, Rs 2.47 crore from Tamil and Rs 1.50 crore from Malayalam. It means clearly that this film is not limited to just one language, people are liking it everywhere.
Ramayana lagged behind Adipurush
Adipurush was released in theaters across the world on 16 June 2023. This film was released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Talking about the first day earnings of Adipurush film, it had earned Rs 86.75 crore net in India on the first day including all the languages.
Whereas Ramayana film collected Rs 64.28 crore on the first day, which is less than Adipurush. Ranbir Kapoor, seen in the role of Ram, could not leave Adipurush behind in terms of first day’s earnings.
