Chhapra (Saran). On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of Khel Samman Bhawan at Baniapur in Saran district, in the dignified presence of His Excellency Governor of Bihar Syed Ata Hasnain, the students of Central Public School (CPS), Chhapra created a wonderful atmosphere of patriotism in the ceremony by giving a musical presentation of the complete version of the national song Vande Mataram. This special presentation of the girl students attracted the attention of the guests and people present at the function.
The CPS students sang the entire version of the national anthem with full discipline, melodious voice, excellent intonation and soulfulness. His Excellency the Governor was extremely impressed by his impressive presentation. He lauded the talent and excellent performance of the girl students and honored them with a cash prize of Rs 10,000. Not only this, His Excellency the Governor also invited the girl students to give their musical performance at Raj Bhavan. This was a big achievement and a proud moment for the school.
CPS students Shruti Soumya, Pankhuri, Sweety, Gungun and Pallavi participated in this proud presentation. Music teachers Niharika Sahay and Rupali Mitra had an important contribution in preparing the students for this special presentation and in music direction and training. At the same time, Shankar Singh on tabla and Nikhil Sharma on harmonium made the presentation even more impressive with their excellent accompaniment.
