Digital Desk Elixir Ideas: Reality show 'Rise and Fall' season 2 has found its winner. After six weeks of competition, friendship, enmity and tremendous drama, Shehzad Poonawala won the trophy. On becoming the winner, he received a prize money of Rs 35 lakh along with the trophy. However, after the victory, Shahzad made such an announcement which caught everyone's attention. He announced to donate the entire amount of Rs 35 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the flood affected people of Assam and Bihar.
This is how the top-3 match was decided
The grand finale started with the strong performance of the top-6 finalists. After this, Niharika Tiwari was out of the race for the finale in the 'Fortune Floor Pyramid' challenge. Then after the 'Tower Lights' challenge, Karan Patel and Swara Bhaskar were also out of the competition. In this way Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, Gautam Gulati and Shehzad Poonawala made it to the top-3.
Finally, former cricketer Virender Sehwag announced the name of the winner and declared Shehzad Poonawala as the champion of season 2. Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary was the first runner up and Gautam Gulati was the second runner up.
What did Shahzad say after the victory?
In his speech after becoming the winner, Shehzad said that winning 'Rise and Fall Season 2' is such a feeling for him, which is difficult to describe in words. He told that the journey of the show was not easy. He had to constantly adapt himself to the circumstances and keep moving forward even in difficult times.
According to Shehzad, many times he had doubts about winning, but deep inside he was confident that he could win the show. His belief turned into reality after he got the trophy in his hands. He described his victory as the result of strong determination and continuous efforts.
Will donate entire prize money to flood affected people
Shahzad announced to donate his prize money of Rs 35 lakh during the winning speech itself. He said that he had already decided that he would give the winning amount to the needy. Now he will deposit this amount in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the flood affected people of Assam and Bihar.
He said that the memories of relationships, laughter and difficult times formed on the show are more than a trophy for him. Apart from the victory, he is taking with him such memories which he will not be able to forget for a long time.
Shehzad remained in controversies many times in the show
Shehzad Poonawala's journey in 'Rise and Fall 2' also remained in the headlines due to many controversies and heated debates. His most famous clash was with Sivet Tomar. The argument between the two escalated so much that the matter reached a scuffle. Sivet Tomar was thrown out of the show due to violation of rules.
Apart from this, Shehzad also had an altercation with Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, Karan Patel and Gautam Gulati. In the initial phase, his differences with Swara Bhaskar also came to the fore, although later their relationship became normal. Amidst all the ups and downs, Shehzad finally won the show's trophy.
