Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu residence, Jalsa’s name comes in the threat email among several prominent locations in the city received by Mumbai authorities.
Security agencies searched the premises following the alert but found no suspicious objects.
According to ANI, the email also mentioned the Bombay High Court, Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads (BDDS) examined the locations, with police officials confirming that no suspicious material was recovered.
This is the second reported threat involving Bachchan’s residence in recent weeks.
On October 23, a similar email was reportedly received by the Mumbai mayor’s office, naming Jalsa, the mayor’s office and Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
The venue is scheduled to host singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s performance on November 27.
Following the earlier alert, security outside Jalsa was strengthened on October 25. Bachchan continued his traditional Sunday meeting with fans, but additional safety measures were introduced.
On November 1, he greeted admirers from behind a transparent bulletproof enclosure, accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan.
The latest threat comes amid heightened security concerns in Mumbai following a recent firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle in Juhu.
