Patna. New projects are continuously being worked on to improve road connectivity in Bihar. In this series, a relief news has emerged for the people traveling between Aurangabad and Patna. A plan is being prepared to make National Highway-139 four lane.
The most special thing about this project is that new greenfield bypasses will be built in three major cities falling on the way. This will not only help in reducing the travel time, but is also expected to provide relief to the people from the traffic jams within the cities.
Greenfield bypass will be built at these 3 places
Under the plan, preparations are being made to build new bypasses in Aurangabad, Amba and Obra. The length of the proposed bypass is as follows:
Aurangabad: About 19.1 km long bypass will be built in the western part of the city.
Amba: About 4.8 kilometer road will be built in the eastern part of the city.
Obara: Here a 6.9 km long bypass is proposed in the western direction.
The alignment of these three bypasses has been prepared and sent to NHAI.
It will be easy to go from Patna to Jharkhand
Under the plan to make NH-139 four lane, the road is to be widened from Sanda to Naubatpur on Jharkhand border. With this, travel between Bihar and Jharkhand will become more convenient than before. The compulsion for heavy vehicles to pass through cities will also reduce.
Construction will start after land acquisition
Let us tell you that DPR will be prepared to take this project forward. After this, the process of issuing tender for the construction work will be completed. Necessary land will also be acquired to build a four-lane road and bypass.
