Girdhari Lal Sahu, husband of cabinet minister Rekha Arya, has been arrested by the police from Jhansi. Sahu's Diwali will now be celebrated in jail only. Minister Rekha Arya had lodged an FIR against her husband Girdhari Lal Sahu in the Cantt police station on October 15. It is alleged that Sahu is already married. She had hidden this thing at the time of marriage. After this, he had been continuously harassing Minister Rekha Arya.
Not only this, he had also ousted Minister Rekha Arya from his companies by committing fraud. For this he had forged their signatures. A SIT was formed under the chairmanship of SP Dehat Jaya Baloni to investigate this FIR. SIT also interrogated many people close to Sahu. When Girdhari's criminal history was scrutinized, it was found that about 50 cases were pending against him in Bareilly and other districts.
In search of Sahu, SIT raided dozens of his places for several days but he was not found anywhere. Meanwhile, news came that he had fled to Nepal. After this the police also contacted the agencies of Nepal. According to the information now revealed, the police has arrested Sahu from Jhansi in UP.
