The Shiromani Akali Dal Punarsurjit will hold an important meeting of its office-bearers, leaders and delegates on Tuesday, November 10, at 12 noon at Gurdwara Reru Sahib, Sahnewal, near Ludhiana, following directions from party president Giani Harpreet Singh.
Sharing the information, party Office Secretary Jagjit Singh Kohli said the Panth and Punjab were facing several serious challenges. He said the meeting would discuss Panthic issues, Punjab's social, economic and political situation, strengthening the party organization and its upcoming programmes.
Discussions will also focus on strengthening political and Panthic unity, addressing issues concerning the sentiments of the Sikh community and formulating a joint strategy to safeguard Punjab's rights. Suggestions will be invited from party leaders and workers to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level.
The party has appealed to members of its Core Committee, Political Affairs Committee (PAC), Working Committee, state-level office-bearers, heads and office-bearers of various wings, delegates, district presidents, circle presidents and other office-bearers to attend the meeting.
Kohli said the meeting was significant for strengthening the party and advancing its Panthic objectives. He urged all invited leaders and office-bearers to reach the venue on time and share their suggestions and views.
