Tech Mahindra Company’s Asia Head Paramjit Dhankhar was murdered in a dispute over parking his car in a parking lot in Faridabad, Haryana. It is alleged that Mohan alias Monu Sharma, who lives in the neighbourhood, fired at them with his licensed pistol. The accused fired about 15 to 16 rounds, out of which 8 to 9 bullets hit Paramjeet. Seriously injured Paramjeet died. After the incident, the accused fled along with his family.
Neighbor opened fire in parking dispute
The incident took place in Sector-21C. According to the information, Paramjeet returned home from the gym at around 8 pm on Dhanteras night. Meanwhile, he had an argument with Mohan alias Monu Sharma, who lives on the third floor, over parking his car in the parking lot.
It is alleged that as the dispute escalated, Monu took out his licensed pistol and fired continuously at Paramjeet. He didn’t even get a chance to recover. Paramjeet, who was seriously injured in the firing, died.
Paramjeet had returned from Singapore two days ago
Paramjit Dhankhar was originally a resident of Hisar. He lived with his wife, son and daughter on the first floor of house number 641 of Sector-21C. He was the Asia Head of Tech Mahindra Company and was living in Singapore for work. He had returned to his family only two days ago.
His nephew’s marriage was to take place in the family on 24th November. Preparations for the wedding were going on at home, but before that, there was mourning in the family.
There was a dispute between the two families earlier also
According to local people, there had been altercations between the two families several times in the past. About five days ago also the accused had abused Paramjit’s son Surya. During this time, the allegation of breaking the gate also came to light. It is being told that the accused works in finance.
Police and crime branch teams started investigation
As soon as information about the incident was received, teams of Police, Crime Branch and FSL reached the spot. Empty cartridge shells have been recovered from the spot and taken into custody for investigation. According to initial information, about 15 to 16 rounds were fired.
After the incident, accused Mohan alias Monu Sharma absconded along with his family. Police and crime branch teams are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
